Biography
Erin Hulburt is a sophomore from Anne Arundel County, Maryland, studying Architecture at University of Maryland. Her interests include traditional pen and pencil media, watercolor, and digital design. She focuses on environment conceptualism, depicting fictional places and thought-provoking imagery that conveys key ideas and emotions. After graduating, Erin plans to join an architecture studio that deals with small scale residential and public projects.
As a College Park Scholar, Erin aims to learn more about the conceptual design process through the sophomore Capstone project at the end of the school year. Her academic goals include creating both an architectural and illustrative portfolio to further her skills inside and outside her major. As part of her university experience, Erin plans on joining student organizations such as AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) and WIA (Women in Architecture) to get more involved on campus.
